Before and After Pictures
Ultherapy is a new type of non-surgical, non-invasive procedure that uses ultrasound and the body’s own natural healing process to lift, tone, and tighten loose skin on the brow, neck, and under the chin.
The only FDA-cleared procedure to lift skin on these hard-to-treat areas, Ultherapy uses the safe, time-tested energy of ultrasound to stimulate the deep structural support layers of the skin—including those typically addressed in a surgical facelift—without disturbing the surface of the skin.
The effect of focused ultrasound energy on the growth of new collagen over time.
Natural, Noticeable Results
Now there’s a way to stand firm in the face of gravity—on your terms. With Ultherapy, there’s no downtime, no foreign substances, no radical change; just a healthy revving-up on the inside for a natural, noticeable effect on the outside.
With Ultherapy, you can go about your day after a single, 60-90 minute in-office procedure. You may notice a short-term “boost” but the natural process of creating new, more elastic, collagen builds over time—much like the effect that exercise has on building muscle (but without the multiple workouts!).
The Beauty of Ultherapy
Results will unfold over the course of 2-3 months and some patients have reported continued improvement for up to 6 months, including lifting and tightening of the skin on the neck, under the chin, along the jawline, and on the brow. While ultrasound does not duplicate the results of surgery, Ultherapy has proven to be an inviting alternative for those who are not yet ready for surgery.
How Does It Work?
Reversing the damage done by gravity, sun exposure, toxins and time, Ultherapy lifts, tones and tightens. The treatment employs a quadruple ultrasound imaging process that allows the clinician to actually see beneath the surface of the skin. This enables the practitioner to pinpoint those areas that need the rejuvenation of increased collagen. Renewed collagen production restores the loose skin’s ability to retract, thereby returning facial definition.
Ultherapy is most effective when treating the chin, jaw line, neck and forehead. Via tightening and toning, loose flesh becomes firm and taut again, thereby diminishing the appearance of:
Creases from nose to mouth
Marionette lines and jowls on either side of the chin
Emerging signs of a double chin
A “Turkey Neck” with its accompanying crepe-like, drooping skin
Frown lines across the brow
Parallel lines between the eyes
No Complications, No Downtime
The procedure usually takes 60-90 minutes. Patients are able to return to their normal activities, including work and exercise regimens. Your skin may be a little red after treatment, but that will disappear within a few hours. After that, just continue your daily beauty regimen and watch as the treatment continues to take years off your face, brow, chin and neck.
In short, Ultherapy is safe and effective. It is a protocol that repairs from the inside out, capitalizing on the body’s own regenerative capacity. Best of all, the results are long-lasting, and you’ll continue to see improvement months after treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many treatments are required?
Usually it takes only one treatment to see dramatic results. There can be some lifting and tightening immediately following the treatment, but the full effect will build gradually over the course of two to three months. Some patients have seen results continue to build for up to six months.
How long do the treatments last?
While new collagen production will be stimulated over the course of the year, our skin continues to age with the passage of time. Therefore, after about two years, patients may be ready for a “touch-up.”
